About Rachel Rachel is a native of Philly/South Jersey. She currently resides in McDonough, Georgia with her husband and two young sons, ages 5 and 3. In 2009 Rachel's oldest son was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Prader-Willi Syndrome, with a diagnosis of PDD-NOS (Autism) to follow shortly after. The diagnosis was traumatic and forever altered the course of her life. Rachel has made it her mission to educate the world about children who have special needs and the amazing parents that they have. Following in her sister Jennifer's footsteps Rachel became a yoga teacher earning her 200 hour RYT training under the guidance of Graham Fowler and Daniela Simina at Peachtree Yoga in Atlanta. She has opened her own yoga studio in McDonough, where she teaches group yoga classes see schedule. She also offers private yoga sessions in-studio by appt as well as in your home, schedule & distance permitting. Yoga birthday parties for children can be arranged at the studio or in your home in the McDonough & Atlanta areas. Rachel plans on continuing her training and applying her skills as a yoga therapist. Rachel also has dreams of providing free yoga to children with special needs and bringing GAMEyoga, founded in California by her sister in 2009, to Georgia. Rachel believes that yoga is an essential part to living a calm and joyful lifestyle. In her spare time between doctors appointments, therapy sessions and the normal things everyday parents do, she writes her popular blog 3wordsfor365 and runs the Prader Willi Fan Page on Facebook I-am-a-Fan-of-Somebody-with-Prader-Willi-Syndrome which has close to 6000 fans around the world. About Jennifer Jennifer created Manifestation Yoga which is about having breakthroughs in your life without being too serious. Her rule of “If you fall you must laugh” is strictly enforced! She teaches this inspirational style of yoga all over Los Angeles and also in Philly & NJ at Dhyana Yoga as well as PURE Yoga and Yoga Vida in NYC. She travels and leads workshops and retreats worldwide: including Yoga Retreats to Ojai, Ca at a 54 acre beautiful Eco-Sanctuary, Mexico, Hawaii, Bali & Tuscany, She originally comes from Philadelphia & NJ by way of NYU before landing in L.A. Starting with Iyengar yoga, she discovered that yoga helped her in healing many aspects of her life: from depression to injuries from being a runner. She has studied with Annie Carpenter extensively. In her classes, she combines her love of words and poetry, music and the healing arts. Classes are challenging, yet completely personal. The MOST important part of Jen's class is having a sense of humor.
